Pregnancy is an exciting and nerve-wracking time for any couple – whether it’s your first baby or your fourth one, all parents want is for their new addition to be happy, healthy and hopefully on time!
Despite the pregnant glow, pregnancy may also take a toll on expectant mothers’ body and life, with morning sickness and the dreaded fatigue often taking the wheel.
It is the same for celebrity couples as it is for anyone else, the only difference being is that rather than just announcing their happy news to friends and family, they have to share their announcement with the whole world!
In this article, we will showcase couples who are expecting the pitter-patter of tiny celebrity feet this year.

As a big fan one of the world’s favourite celebrity couples, actress Blake Lively already has two children with husband Ryan Reynolds – daughters Inez, who is almost five and James who turns three this September – while baby number three is currently on the way.
Luckily Blake will have no problems sticking to a healthy prenatal diet as she does not drink and leads an active lifestyle.
The star of The Shallows revealed her pregnancy in May of this year when she attended the premiere of her husband’s latest film ‘Detective Pikachu’. The pair is famously down to earth when it comes to their children, with Reynolds often posting humorous parenting advice on his Twitter account.
Lively, who comes from a large family, has told fans that the pair always planned to have a large brood and that they would happily welcome more children in the future. She has been quoted as saying that both she and Ryan had very normal upbringings, something that they also want to give their own children now.

Former Victoria’s Secret model is expecting her third child later this year. Miranda, who is married to Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel, with whom she has a son with Hart, as well as her son, Flynn, with former husband, Lord Of The Rings actor Orlando Bloom.
The model has posted a number of pretty, picturesque photos to her Instagram account, showing off her growing bump and looking all happy and healthy. Following the birth of son Hart less than a year ago, Kerr was quick to defend new moms against the pressures of regaining their post-pregnancy bodies. She was quoted as saying, ‘I have a mom-bod and I’m happy with it!’
Both Kerr and her husband are notoriously protective of their children, and as of yet there have been no photos released of Hart to the press and from the looks of it, it is very likely that the couple will keep the birth of their new arrival just as secretive.
Kerr continues to co-parent eldest child Flynn with her ex-husband and states that they are just another modern family.
Keira Knightley

Actress Keira Knightley debuted her baby bump at a Chanel cocktail party in Paris, choosing not to make an actual announcement but to instead let the pictures do all the talking. Knightley, who is married to musician James Righton, already has a daughter Edie born in 2015.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star is an outspoken advocate for parental rights and she has advocated for better paternity rights. She has already written articles and essays for feminist organisations citing the dangers of putting women, and especially celebrity mothers, under too much pressure when appearing in public following the births of their babies.
However, Knightley was wrongfully criticized for comments she made in one of her pieces where she commented on the seemingly perfect image of the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton when she appeared in public just hours after the birth of Princess Charlotte.
Knightley was upset as the comments were taken out of context and were in fact, in support of the Duchess.

Fans were happy to see the fun-loving side of the Oscar-winning actress when she recently revealed her pregnancy bump on Instagram along with a caption stating that ‘it was not for the movie’ – possibly a little joke about the fact that she has previously been asked to both lose and gain weight for movie roles.
Anne, who is expecting baby number two, was quick to send a message of love and support to couples who may be experiencing fertility issues, stating that although her announcement was a happy one, it had been a difficult journey for her and husband Adam Schulman.
The pair, who already has a son, Jonathan, admitted that they have been longing for their son to have a sibling for a long time, but they didn’t have it as easy as they had hoped. Anne is open with her fans and her struggles of conceiving making her latest news extra special.

The star recently revealed how she is helping her young son, who is still a toddler, to adjust to the idea of having a new baby in the house, by giving him a baby doll to practise with.
Conrad admitted that whilst she and her husband already know the sex of the baby and despite having picked a name for the baby, the couple won’t be revealing anything until after their new family member has arrived.
Despite a recent reboot of the show that made her famous, Conrad decided not to return to The Hills along with her former castmates and she has instead chosen to focus on her business, family whilst anticipating for the baby to arrive with a due date, only rumoured to be sometime in late October.

Hot off the back of his recent success with Amazon series Good Omen’s actor Michael Sheen has had more good news to share with his fans – the star, who was one of the leads in the Twilight Saga – has announced that his partner Anna Lundberg is expecting their first child.
The Welsh actor, who also has a 20-year-old daughter Lily from his previous relationship with actress Kate Beckinsale, is over the moon for the new addition in his family.
However, Sheen couldn’t resist the opportunity of marking the occasion with a joke, telling fans that they had been expecting a little angel – a nod to his recent role as the neurotic angel Aziraphale in the popular TV show.
The baby is the first for 25-year-old Anna, who is a trained theatre actress and model, and the pair has just recently confirmed their relationship to the press.

Star of the smash-hit TV show Pretty Little Liars Shay Mitchell is currently anticipating the arrival of her first child. Following the footsteps of most other celebrities, she chose to share her news via social media by posting pictures of a specially arranged nude photoshoot that showcased her pregnancy figure.
The star managed to keep her pregnancy a secret for a long time, and she has only come to reveal it to the public when she reached the sixth month of her milestone. This, of course, means that the actress is likely to be due sometime in September.
Mitchell is notoriously private about her personal life, however, she did open up about a previous miscarriage in 2018. The star posted a thank you caption to her supporters following what she described as being ‘the darkest of days’ – fortunately she now has happier times to look forward to.

He now seems to be leading a completely different lifestyle, as the singer has a more stable family life, living with his wife and their son Odin in Las Vegas, where Nick continues to pursue his acting career. The star has been vocal about his wife’s miscarriage back in 2018, and he went on to say that he is looking forward to meeting their new child.
Carter, who appeared on ‘Dancing With The Stars’ in 2015 admitted that their road to conceiving was a rocky one as they had suffered from their fair share of disappointments and setbacks.

Best known as DJ Twitch, Stephen Boss, has been a regular feature on the Ellen DeGeneres show since 2014 and he has since become the chat show host’s most popular and well-loved sidekick.
Twitch was visibly ecstatic to announce in May of this year that he and his wife were expecting baby number two, as he chose to tell his fans during a special Mother’s Day episode of the show.
When the announcement was made Ellen jokingly asked her DJ how long he had been keeping it a secret from her, but she still went on to congratulate the couple.
Stephen is already a stepfather to wife Allison Holker’s daughter Weslie and together they have a son, Maddox. He went on to say that both children are excited at the prospect of a new baby coming into the family and that Weslie, in particular, was looking forward to becoming a big sister once again.
Johnny Galecki

Big Bang Theory star Johnny Galecki seems to have kept himself busy since the show wrapped up its last season, with the TV actor revealing that he and partner Alaina Mayer were expecting their first child.
The announcement coming in May was actually clashing with the screening of the popular comedies final episodes.
The pair confirmed their relationship in September 2018 but they have since asked for their privacy whilst they wait for the birth of their child.
Galecki has revealed that they decided to find out the gender of the baby and that the duo is utterly excited to be having a boy.
Co-star Sara Gilbert, who is a long term friend, revealed her emotional reaction, as the were filming their final scenes at the news that her co-star was a father to be.
Fortunately, the crew on the show assumed that Sara’s emotions were only due to the series ending and therefore Johnny’s secret was safe until he decided to reveal it to his fans

She already has one son with her ex-partner rapper Whiz Khalifa and now the US model and actress is expecting her second baby with current partner Alexander Edwards.
Rose has been in a number of high profile relationships previously with exes including Kanye West and 21 Savage. It seems the outspoken star is now happily settled down, telling her fans that her new man is also her ‘best friend’.
Rose has spoken up about how she actively co-parents son Sebastian with Whiz Khalifa, explaining that kids are always happier when they can be around with both of their parents at the same time. The two are on amicable terms and they are often spotted enjoying family days out with their son.
